Traditional Native Games

Hatchet Throw

Qualifying Event
Traditional Native Games are back! All are welcome for fun and fellowship. The first six events are qualifiers for the Traditional Native Games Championship. All games are open to the public and are at no cost to the competitor or spectator.

A hatchet, often referred to as a tomahawk, is thrown at a target that is attached to a large cedar stand. The hatchet must turn over once in the air before reaching the target. Participants must supply their own hatchet.
