As part of the Cherokee National Holiday Powwow, the Gourd Dance serves to honor veterans, elders and ancestors through song and dance and is considered a “warrior’s dance” or “gentleman’s dance”. The Gourd Dance will be followed by supper break (on your own) and the Inter-Tribal Powwow Grand Entry.

All are welcome to attend. Participants and spectators must bring their own seating. No pets allowed.
