Weaving our future
The theme of the 72nd annual Cherokee National Holiday is “ᎢᏛᏍᎬᎢ ᎢᎦᏤᎵᎦᏯ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏧᏩᎬᎬᏗᏗᏒᎢ: Weaving Our Future.“ It is a reminder that all Cherokees can contribute to the fabric of Cherokee culture and make a positive impact for future generations.
Artisan Marketplace
The Cherokee Artisan Marketplace will take place on the grounds of the Cherokee National History Museum in downtown Tahlequah, Oklahoma. Each year, this marketplace features a wide variety of artisan goods and food trucks serving up tasty options.

The only thing more fun than watching a parade is participating in one. Sign up your team, marching band, organization campaign, department, church, business, or nonprofit group to build a float and join the parade in downtown Tahlequah. Vendors
Every year on Labor Day weekend, approximately 160,000 people travel to Tahlequah, Oklahoma, the capital city of the Cherokee Nation, to celebrate the September 6, 1839 signing of the Constitution of the Cherokee Nation in Oklahoma after the Trail of Tears Indian removal ended. We actively recruit vendors throughout the year, including food service, artisans, craftsmen, entertainers, performers, demonstrators and many others to make this event one of a kind.
